Tablet என்பது லாப்டாப்பை விட சிறிய ஆனால் smartphone ஐ விட பெரிய portable PC ஆகும். பதில் stylus எனப்படும் பேனா மூலம் Touch screen இல் எழுதுவதை கணினி கண்டறியும். இதில் internet, create and share presentations, videos conference with clients, email, download books, games videos, watch movies, share photos போன்றவை உண்டு. கையடக்கமான சிறிய கணினி எனச் சொல்லலாம். தொலைபேசி வசதி கிடையாது.Keyboard mouse பயன்படுத்த முடியும்.
Portable Personal computer என சொல்லலாம்.
