How to trace the sender of mail?

Hi sir,
I am getting mail from unknown mail id. Can you tell me the way to find the details of the sender (ie. To trace the sender details including country,name like that). Thanks in advance.

அது Gmail  என்றால் .,

உங்களின் மின்னஞ்சலை திறந்து.. அதன் வலது மேல் ஓரத்தில் உள்ள  More  எனும் கவிழ்ந்த முக்கோண பட்டியை அழுத்துங்கள். அதில் "Show Original" எனும் தொடுப்பை சொடுக்குங்கள்.

இப்போது உங்களின் மின்னஞ்சல் அனுப்புனரின் பல விவரங்கள் காணக் கிடைக்கும்.

அதில் X-Originating-IP:  எனும் வரியில் உள்ள IP  முகவரியை www.MaxMind.com எனும் தளத்தில் கொடுத்து அனுப்புனரின் நாடு மற்றும் நகரத்தை பார்க்கலாம்.

Top right corner., Click on the more drop down menu > Show Original
You can see complete mail header.. Over there., Take IP from X-Originating-IP: line and visit www.Maxmind.com for city & country info of sender..

You can trace the sender of a e-mail ID following these steps given below:
If it is Gmail follow these steps:
You get an e-mail to your e-mail ID from another post you can click on the triangle button near the answer, and select Show original features that you can copy the ip from "Received from:" and you can find the related details.
Furthermore, by having an IP lookup from http://www.ip-details.com you can find a geographical location for sender. Hope this information is of no use.
