EMC (Email and collaboration) Service consists of monitoring, troubleshooting, problem solving, Installation, Configuration, Performance Optimization and system administration services for Email and collaboration products like Lotus Product Suite (Lotus Notes, Lotus Sametime, Lotus Domino) MS Exchange, Spam & Content filtering solutions, Mobility solutions (Blackberry, IntelliSync, ActiveSync, GoodLink), Sharepoint, Office Communication Server, Mail Archiving solutions, SMTP Relay Products like Sendmail/Postfix, Backup & Restore solutions. Email servers are monitored on a proactive basis for service interruption, server performance and backup failures. It also includes driving Incident, Change and Problem Management with adherence to customer specific process
Scope: Lotus Domino Support
Designation: SME (Subject Matter Expert)
Experience:
§ 8 – 20 Years of relevant IT Experience
§ At least 5 years of experience in Server Management
§ At least 6+ years of experience in Lotus Domino Servers
Basic Qualification:
§ Bachelor’s Degree
§ Diploma
Certifications:
§ IBM Certified System Administrator – Lotus Domino V7, V8
Availability:
§ Willingness to work in 24/7 – Shift based.
§ On call support as and when needed
Messaging – Service Deliverables
The service consists of monitoring, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and system administration services for messaging infrastructure. Backup management for Messaging servers, servers are monitored on a proactive basis for service interruption, server performance and backup failures. Server hardware is being managed with coordination with Hardware vendors.
Roles & Responsibilities: The purpose of this role is to provide technical support in order to ensure a high degree of Customer Satisfaction through SLA & Process Compliance. The emphasis would be on skills like

§ Good knowledge on mobility solution like Blackberry, Traveler
§ Knowledge of Server Hardware is required
§ Sound knowledge on Backup and Restore architecture
§ Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and configuration of Anti-spam, Antivirus software
§ Strong in multiple OS – Win/AIX/Linux
§ Performance Management & Optimization
§ Sound experience on Storage and Cluster
§ Understanding of Networks and DNS
