how to make the bootable os cd?

hi sir, I have a windows server 2008 cd. But it is not a bootable cd. It can install after loading the windows xp. Can you tell me the software to make them as bootable.

Easy,  copy your cd as a ISO or NRG image using nero software. And then write that image to a cd or dvd. It will be bootable.

Hi sir, I already have nrg file of windows server 2008 and try that method. But it is useless cant able to boot directly. Kindly tell me any idea to create it as bootable cd.
